In my last blog I talked about finding a mentor or someone to match and mirror. In this blog I will talk about how to do this if you don’t know where to begin. First off, look around you. Who do you know? Who do they know? If you really tried to find someone I bet you could. If your life depended on it I’m sure you could. Actually your life does! At least your quality of life does. So be more resourceful. You could hire a coach! There are many life coaches out there today so be careful who you choose. I prefer Tony Robbins coaches because once I had one of his, my standards were so high I couldn’t switch. Another way of finding a mentor or coach would be buying a book. Books are usually written by people that have achieved what they write about. You could also find a network marketing company. I joke with people all the time about that I would rather have my kid go to school for maybe 5 years and then get started in a network marketing company for 2 years instead of college. I got started in one a few years ago and had many mentors while I was in it. I learned skills that would have taken me 20-30 years in school or other businesses. These are just a few of the things you could do to find a mentor.

Having a Bad day is better than having No day.
Remember that not everyday you must feel fully rested and perfect in order to have a good day. I think that too many people have such huge rules that they feel they must live at each day in order to have a good day. It is better to be happy with what you did then to be unhappy with what you didn’t do. Im not saying to live at a lower level of life. I am saying to remember to celebrate what you did do, so you can do more of it. Celebrate everyday and be grateful for everything and everyone you have in your life!

Take a good long look at the person you talk to and confine in. Do they have what you want? Meaning do they have the life or love you want? If you are struggling with money issues would it make sense to talk to someone that doesn’t have money either? If you want to make 100k a year, does it make sense to talk to someone that makes 40k a year? Wouldn’t it make more sense to talk to someone that makes 100k or more a year? If you want a better love life, does it make sense to talk to someone that is single? Or talk to someone that is always in and out of relationships? Or would it make more sense to talk to someone that has the loving passionate relationship you want in your life? This is called matching and mirroring. If you want a certain result always look for someone that has what you want and find out what they did and do it. If you do what they did then you will get what they got. You will save allot of time, effort, and pain by using this easy tool.
